Melbourne Captain Max Gawn says he's never been told his club has a drug culture.
His comments come in the wake of a drug trafficking investigation into Demons teammate Joel Smith.
Gawn says while "we'd love" to see zero drug use in the AFL, it should be acknowledged as a societal issue.
"We're naive to think that (this) doesn't happen in society," Gawn said when asked a question relating to the cocaine investigation into teammate Joel Smith.
